New Faculty Teaching Resources/Semester Readiness

Overview: Each semester EDLI team members and collaborators have provided support for new instructors on campus and opportunities for consulting in preparation for the semester.

Outcomes: Provided support and resources to assist faculty in course preparation and management which included a cross-disciplinary perspective.

This project provides faculty with an opportunity for cross-disciplinary perspectives on their questions and needs in course preparation and development. The resources and consulting provided are shared across multiple Colleges and at the institutional level in order to maximize reach and allow all faculty an opportunity for support. Our intentional cross-disciplinary approach to consulting ensured that each participant received feedback, ideas, and support not only from their own disciplinary support team but from others working with the EDLI team who may not typically be involved with instructional consultation in that field.
